§ 5844. Definitions and authorization of appropriations

  • (a) DefinitionsFor purposes of this subchapter:(1) The term “program” means the National Genetic Resources Program.(2) The term “Secretary” means the Secretary of Agriculture.(3) The term “Director” means the Director of the National Genetic Resources Program. (b) Authorization of appropriationsThere are authorized to be appropriated to carry out this subchapter—(1) such sums as are necessary for each of fiscal years 1991 through 2013; and(2) $1,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2014 through 2018.
