§ 712. Definitions

  • For the purposes of this subchapter— (1) the term “tribe” means the Cow Creek Band of Umpqua Tribe of Indians; and (2) the term “member”, when used with respect to the tribe, means a person enrolled on the membership roll of the tribe in accordance with section 712c of this title.
