§ 2401g. Authorization of appropriations

(a) In general There are authorized to be appropriated to the Department of Agriculture not to exceed $90,000,000 for each of the fiscal years 2012 and 2013, and $22,500,000 for the 3-month period beginning on
October 1, 2013 , and ending onDecember 31, 2013 , to carry out the purposes of this part, including administrative costs, and salaries and expenses of employees of the Department of Agriculture.(b) Proportionate reduction If in any year the amount appropriated under this part is insufficient to meet the requirements for adjustment assistance payable under this part, the amount of assistance payable under this part shall be reduced proportionately.
