§ 2345. Authorization of appropriations

(a) In general There are authorized to be appropriated to the Secretary to carry out the provisions of this part $16,000,000 for each of the fiscal years 2012 and 2013, and $4,000,000 for the 3-month period beginning on
October 1, 2013 , and ending onDecember 31, 2013 . Amounts appropriated pursuant to this subsection shall remain available until expended.(b) Personnel Of the amounts appropriated pursuant to this section for each fiscal year, $350,000 shall be available for full-time positions in the Department of Commerce to administer the provisions of this part. Of such funds the Secretary shall make available to the Economic Development Administration such sums as may be necessary to establish the position of Director of Adjustment Assistance for Firms and such other full-time positions as may be appropriate to administer the provisions of this part.
